About the project

For this landscape gardening project in Macclesfield the client has presented us with a design brief for a family friendly, contempoary garden space. The overall aim was to maixmise the practical garden spaces, with an area of new lawn, planting and most importantly paving, creating individual areas. A generous granite paving area was accented using an area of hardwood balau dekcing. The hardwood decking adds another texture to the garden and the rich colours of the balau hardwood provide a fantastic colour contrast against the dark renderred walls. The large lawn allowed their two sports mad boys ample area for sports and the clinical planting of bamboos and grasses enhance the contempoary aestetic. After removing the old hedgerow the weathered fence panels were disguised by using willow screening to create a new softer perimter garden fence line. The project took 20 days to complete with a budget of £10000 strictly adhered to.
